Our client is dedicated to servicing all major modes of transportation for both domestic and international services. 


Supply Chain Sales Executive

Our client is looking for a seasoned Sales Executive with experience in bringing on new customers at a Freight Forwarder/3PL/Domestic Broker. An experienced Sales Executive (a book of business is strongly preferred, but not a deal breaker if you're a true salesperson with a proven track record), who is looking to join a team where they will have a chance at substantial growth immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Build real, strong, lasting relationships with shipping customers.
  • Make warm and cold calls, visit companies, and get a foot in the door.
  • Learn to keep up with the ever-changing market.
  • A true team player willing to jump in to help everyone achieve success.
  • Be honest with not only the team, but with carriers and customers.
  • Have a sense of urgency to provide our client’s customers with the best possible service.


Experience:

  • B.A. in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business, or Marketing preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of direct Freight Forwarder/3PL/Domestic Brokerage/LTL customer sales experience required.
  • Ability to think on your feet, evaluate all aspects of a situation to make a sound decision, creative problem solving skills, and remain calm in high pressure situations.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both written and orally, with both teammates and customers.
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize and multitask duties, shifting from one to another seamlessly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, along with basic computer skills, including typing.
  • Experience with McLeod Software is a plus.


Locations:

Remote and hybrid locations will be considered.

Onsite office exist in Charlotte, NC, and shortly will near Bordentown, NJ and Oakland, CA.


Income:

Salary is $80,000 to $100,000 per year depending on overall experience level.

After goals are met, commissions can equal 50-100% of the base in the first twelve months.

Commissions are uncapped and based on margin.

The company pays for health insurance.
