Compensation: $60,000-$65,000

Our client, a leading home delivery third-party logistics provider, is seeking a Dispatcher / Assistant Location Manager for immediate direct hire. 

The client's capabilities include freight management, warehouse and distribution center support, last-mile delivery, supply chain analytics and optimization, and more. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dispatcher / Assistant Location Manager is responsible for driving satisfaction and organizational focus on delivering operational excellence and exceeding customer expectations. In coordination with the Location Manager, the Assistant Manager will use their judgment in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, centralizing, and administrating all aspects of the location related to customer and company goals. This includes but is not limited to, staffing, managing orders, and fulfilling sales and gross margin goals and growth objectives.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maximize operational efficiencies using defined metrics, continuously improving functional performance while optimizing both company and partner resources.
• We are ensuring partner/customer satisfaction through regular communication and execution of internal and external key      performance indicators.
• Ensure a culture of safety throughout the local site safety cultureby adhering to all safety policies and procedures - monitor warehouse      safety, physical security, and operational metrics daily, weekly, and      monthly.
• Partner with the Location Manager and operation Team to coordinate staffing and operational needs within the assigned location.      
• Manage all functions of the location, including hiring, firing, performance appraisals, transfers, promotions, discipline,      and identifying and resolving problemswarehouses. Wewithin established Companypolicies, processes, and procedures.
• Schedule associates by analyzing the workload, delivery schedules, & expectations to estimate associate hours required.
• Maintain accurate customer account information and billing requirements. 
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist teammates      in solving issues.
• Interpret company policies and procedures for associates and enforce safety regulations.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to Location Staff in performing all duties.
• Work Maintainedwith the Location Manager to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of operations through P&L      responsibility for the site, including revenue and profitability performance against budget.
   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be very flexible with shift start times and days  worked, including weekends and holidays.
• 2 years of management and leadership experience in a home      delivery setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor contractors and      warehouse associates.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• The ability to make decisions, problem solve,      prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing      environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, read and interpret P&L statements, and prepare related management reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word,      Outlook, and PowerPoint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of   Two  time.
• Ability to lift two timesto 75 lbs.

EDUCATION periods andEXPERIENCE:

• Final Mile, Home Delivery Installation, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Third-Party experience preferred.
• A BS/BA Degree or associate degree with Equivalent Experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Proven track record in supervision of company policies problems warehouses proven employees, including hiring, training, and termination.

Proven experience in providing a high level of customer service.
